Thanks, James! I really appreciate it. I just had my first child, a son, this week, so I’m just now getting back onto the blog. Hopefully, I’ll be doing a lot of new posts centered around hiking and backpacking with kids soon. It’s a new avenue for content, and a space that doesn’t seem to have too much written online. The hard thing will be photography. It’s much easier to shoot a mountain than a restless child!
Congrats on your first child, Drew! The trails and mountains aren’t going anywhere but hopefully the little one let’s you get out on the trail, now and then. I think you’re right about the hiking and backpacking with kids angle–you just might be trailblazing new territory with that one. Best regards!
