The Tarptent Cloudburst 3 is a lightweight 3-person tent that’s perfect for those wanting a lightweight and comfortable backpacking and camping tent. I’ve been using this tent as my primary family camping shelter for more than a year now and will share my experience in this review.
Blue Ridge Campground is a cluster or 8 first come – first served sites near Wrightwood, CA. Situated at 8,000 ft, Blue Ridge Campground is intersected by the Pacific Crest Trail and is the end location of the Blue Ridge Trail hike. The 8 sites offer limited facilities with no piped water. The campground does have vault toilets, fire rings, and tables.
The Vivobarefoot Ultra 3 is a lightweight anatomically shaped shoe that gives you a nice barefoot feel. The Ultra 3 provides impressive underfoot protection via a puncture resistant outsole. My favorite part of the shoe is the EVA upper with hexagon cutouts, that allows my feet to breathe in hot weather, drain and dry after getting wet, and still feel protected when kicking around a campsite.
After a few rough nights of winter camping in a tent, I started looking for alternative sleeping options. My goal was to find a trailer that would allow us to enjoy the outdoors without having to brave cold winter nights. I rented a Teardrop trailer, and our family road trips will never be the same.
I’ve been a big fan of Hydro Flask’s vacuum insulated hydration bottles for a while now. Their ability to keep my beverages warm or cold for an entire day is a luxury I’ve enjoyed at work, on road trips, and on many car camping weekends. Hydro Flask recently released two new products in their ‘Wine Bundle’ line, the 25 oz Wine Bottle and the 10 oz Wine Tumbler.
