I just completed full write-ups on this blog for the Ausangate Trek, and the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu. Looking through my photos, I was consumed with the overwhelming urge to return to the beautiful country of Peru. There are times when words simply cannot do justice to a thought or emotion. In these times, I rely heavily on photo and video to bring my adventures back to life. Here are my 20 photos that will make you want to visit Peru.
1.) A visit to Machu Picchu is near the top of most traveler’s bucket list. This is one of those rare travel destinations that actually lives up to the lofty billing. The sharp mountain peak in the middle of the photo below is Huayna Picchu. Hiking to the summit of one of the highlights of our entire trip.
