Camino de Santiago: Getting to St. Jean Pied de Port

Running of the Bulles San Fermines

My Euro travels are officially over. I left Rome for Civitavecchia two days ago and took a cruise ferry across the sea and back to Barcelona. After a night in Barcelona, I made my way to the final evening of the San Fermin festival and the running of the bulls.

In three hours I will catch a bus to St Jean Pied du Port to begin the Camino. At six AM tomorrow morning, I will begin the first leg of my trip to Roncesvalles.

Buen Camino!
